The Black Sheep Lazaridi (750mL) – Dry White Wine
The Black Sheep, an eccentric name for a product that stresses out its diversity and particularity. It is produced at the Mackedon Winery at Platanotopos, Kavala, while the vineyards are found in a small distance. The Black Sheep white wine is made from the varieties Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc in a pleasant combination of flavors and aromas.
Varieties: 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon.
Vinification Techniques: Fermentation at low temperature in order to maximize the extraction of primary aromas. Short maturation with the fine lees.
Tasting Notes: Pale lemon color. Pronounced aromas of lime, litchi, grapefruit, peach, nectarine, with some notes of grass. Pleasant acidity, medium body with the flavors following the aromas of the nose with a pleasant aftertaste.
Aging: Will respond to aging for up to 2-3 years after harvest.
