The Black Sheep Lazaridi (750mL) – Dry Rose Wine

Pale pink color. Pronounced floras and fruity aromas of rose, honeysuckle, nectarine, melon and strawberry in balance with some light white pepper notes. Dry in the mouth with pleasant crispy acidity, medium body with a medium flavor intensity in the mouth, aromas reminiscent of rose, peach, melon, cherry (bubble gum) with a medium finish.

The Black Sheep, an eccentric name for a product that stresses out its diversity and particularity. It is produced at the Mackedon Winery at Platanotopos, Kavala, while the vineyards are found in a small distance. The special vinification of the Black Sheep rosé begins with the early harvest of grapes highlighting the particular characteristics of both Grenache Rouge & Syrah varieties.

Vinification:

Rosé vinification begins with the early harvest of the grapes of the two varieties. Direct pressing of the grapes in order to minimize the color extraction in order to achieve the desired pale pink. Fermentation takes place at controlled low temperatures in order to maximize the floral and fruity notes.

Ageing:

Will respond to aging for up to 2-3 years after harvest

At 8-10ºC
