The colour is brilliant, medium-strength violet with pink hues. On the nose it is vivid and intense with aromas of black cherries, blackberries, hints of plums, violets and dried herbs. On the palate it has medium body, moderate acidity with smooth tannins – all in harmony. The aftertaste is moderate with a gentle note of anise seed.

Vinification:
Alcoholic fermentation and extraction in stainless steel vats at 23˚C for 6 days. Full malolactic fermentation in vats. Short ageing over fine lees. Screw cap.
Food pairings:
This red wine is ideally served alone, while it can also wonderfully accompany food: pasta, meat, risotto and appetizers based on tomato sauce. Its unique flexibility allows serving at various temperatures, depending on the season, the food and the mood: 14-16˚C, as most red wines, or even cooler (9-10˚C) when served in warmer climates or seasons.
